The turn timer be set at 22 hours to thus equal 24 hours of actual game time
The reasons being;
1. The game has taken far too long to get going as it is, the excessive turns where nothing is happening is only going to increasingly kill interest
2. This doesn't mean at a later juncture the turn timer cannot subsequently be increased.
3. Anyone can play these turns, they are just moving warriors/scouts there is next to no micromanagement that can/has to be done.

So there it is. Do we want to shorten the turn time to 22 hours (because of the game's timer being a little slow, this equals 24 hours) or keep it at the current 40 hours?

I voted NO. With our team not the most active posting, I like to have a little more time to discuss so that everyone can get their opinions heard if they can't log on one day for some reason.

I'd simply say we should be diligent and try to end our team's turns within 24 hours or so, since we're not doing anything but exploring with the warrior fora while. (btw, fine with you turnplaying - still able to do so Tomorrow/Monday/until Provo is back? Fine either way).

But a longer timer is going to absolutely necessary imo to discuss things as the game goes on; on 22 hours when people are at war or other stuff later on it would be brutal. So I vote NO also, and my sentiments basically are "teams should end the early turns quicker if they want, we'll need the time later"

I abstained to leave this to the judgement of the turn players. It sounded like this was a temporary measure to speed up the tedious early turns though, to be extended once things start happening. We're the smallest team so whether we can get our turns played in time is a factor.

And this is why I am for the current timer. I can play at multiple times nearly every day. If not, we have multiple backups. However, this isn't my game or any current turnplayer's, it is our team game. And in order to make decisions we need time to talk, to plan, to discuss. With our team being so small, each person's voice is much more important than if we had thirty players. Like the other turn when we could have moved the warrior onto the wheat, off of a forested tile. TyBoy didn't want to do that. I was indifferent. Suppose I was adament that we move to that wheat. That's all we would have had, a 1-1 split. With everyone having different schedules, being in different time zones, it might not be possible to log on every six hours to check for updates. Someone shouldn't lose their say on our small team because they have church or got called into work, for example.
