PI #6 is actually the culmination of the PI barrage against Chieftess. PI #6 charges Chieftess with violating Article E of the Constitution. She has constantly reduced, nay denied my rights and the rights of other Governors of Fanatika. They too should step forward and demand resolution for all the times their build queues were ignored or changed on a whim, by Chieftess.

Article E of the Constitution of Fanatika is paraphrased below:

The Senate will be formed of the Provincial Governors, each of whom are responsible for the care, management, and use of the cities and lands of a Province, in addition to Legislative responsibilities.

This means that the Governors are the head of State for their Provinces, with grass roots connections to the people and the land. It is our responsibility, as Governors, to see that our Provinces are well cared for, and that they grow and thrive with the resources they have available to them. It does not say that the President or DP has this responsibility. By ignoring the Governors, myself included, as shown in the first 5 PI's, and doing what she damned well pleased, Chieftess is in violation of Article E of the Constitution of Fanatika.

I am going to PM the Public Defender (Octavian X) and the Defendant (Chieftess) notifying them of the charges brought against President Chieftess.

As always, the first two posts are reserved for the Public Defender and the defendant. If they do not post their defense here in 24 hours, this thread is open for discussion.

This thread will be closed and a trial poll will commence after the discussion has lasted for at least 48 hours and also petered out.

It's been a long while since there was a senate (I don't even remember one in DG1), and the rules never said who should make the thread. A simple reminder would have been sufficient for me to post one. I had no knowledge (especially from that rule posted) that I had to make a senate thread. I'm not even denying governors of their rights. This is just an example of miscommunication between the governors and the presidential office.

Chieftess, this PI has nothing to do with the Senate Forum thread. It has to do with breaking the Article of the Constitution listed above, by way of denying Governors their rights concerning their Provinces.

Cyc, you mention that it is the responsibility of the governors to care for their respective province, not the President. If you are truly the caretaker of your province, then it is your responsibility to notify the president of the instructions that were missed, and to also confirm that she did in fact recieve the message. Do not blame the president for ignoring you; blame yourself for not bringing these mistakes to her attention sooner.

Ah, but I did, Octavian X. Repeatedly, and I never got a response from the high and mighty Queen, other than she was busy with her birthday. She never responded directly to any of my communications about the instructions for the North Province.

A quote taken out of context, but entirely approiate for the situation. I will tell you, Cyc, my doughnuts are of the highest quality.

My suggestion was, Cyc, it was your responsibility to also confirm the message was recieved. I am sure there have been moments in your life were another tried to communicate with you, and you were too busy to take notice until late. Therefore, it was your responsibility as caretaker to actually confirm the message had been recieved. You knew it was Chieftess' birthday: what other day would she be distracted more? Add to that her resonsibilities as moderator and operator, it would be very difficult to read every thread of importance. A new thread in the citizen's forum, more visible places to remind her of the oversight, a message in the chatroom, or even a PM to myself of Chieftess would have rectified the problem. Sadly enough, even a PI is a rather large way to point out a problem.

It IS not the duty of the president to care for provinces, it is the duty of a governor. If the president is not doing what is necesary for proper care, it is the duty of the governor as caretaker to ensure corrections are made.

This is the most ridiculous PI yet. Chieftess is charged with breaking the article that defines the Legislative Branch of the government. This is so preposterous as to go beyond laughable into the realms of sickness. Exactly how vindictive does somebody have to be to try this hard to lambaste their target? I don't even want to know.

As usual, I am boycotting this PI and this will be my only post in this thread. I will not be following any discussion here so if moderator help is needed please PM me or use the "report this post" link at the bottom of a suspect post.
