The Spanish Kingdom has gone leaderless for many years. The king has left, and supposedly killed himself leaving the government in totall shatter. Local warlords still kept the nation in tact, but disunited, leaving many other cultures to invade and claim thier land. One, named the Vandals have invaded Carthage, claiming the city as we knew it. The Visigoths wanting thier own place to study thier faith and religion.
A new leader has arisen to power among the largely displaced empire of Spain. This boy, born and raised in the valleys of the Andulasian mountains grew as a hardworking and virtuous man. He climbed the many hills and passed through many beautiful villages and cities until he reached Madrid. He began to work for a spearmaker. His aspiration was to enter government, which is why he went for it. He always passed though the large Roman and Spanish style structures where the government lead their meetings. The Senators were all but the less intellectual people that lead this nation when there was no leader. This boy's name was Don Juan of Andulasia.
As time went by, Juan learned much of his country, he traveled many lands as a Spearmaker. Learning the secrets of merchantilism he began to wheel and deal with other metal workers. He became renoun for his skill of trading and began to hire others to make the spears and weapons for the army of Spain. He purchased land with his newfound wealth, and built a whole town for spearmaking. This town was located above the state of Portugal on the very coast. This town was named Don Juan. He became the most richest man in Spain. Many knew him as he walked by. No one knew his knowledge of diplomacy and leadership that he witnessed and learned in his young days, watching the Senators. He decided he will take his stand, and run for office.
In 515, the election process began. The largest population in Spain was known to be Spanish, followed by another 13 or more ethnic backgrounds; the second largest was French. Don Juan was of both ethnic backgrounds. He took the podium on one Saturday morning, having many supporters watch him, and shook the crowd with his aspirations for future Spain.
'We will rule again!' was quoted from Don Juan and posted in every large newspaper business in all the lands. Everyone used this as his slogan. He became more known all around Espania, as the man that will remake the country of Spain.
Came elections in 516ce, another runner up in the elections was Jose of Madrid. He was not as rich, and powerful as Don Juan was. He struggled to get 25% of the votes above Don Juan.
"...and the new leader, of the National Republic of the Spanish Empire is... Don Juan of Adnulasia!"
The crowd went wild as Don Juan took the stage to give his inaugeration speech. The streets of Madrid were flooded by people all around the nation. A new time was to come for this country, and new era of great prosperity was ahead for the people of Espania.
