For me, a few things would really help with gameplay and QOL.

1) Steam Cloud saves.

2) Restart map / game if unfavourable starting location

3) Don't keep zooming back to a unit who has movement left if you have already rotated to the next unit

4) The combat screen - why are the units being attacked on the left - when every other CIV title had them on the right?

5) "Goodie huts" stand out more from the scenery - lost count of the number of time I have missed them!

6) CTRL+S to open save game dialogue (and CTRL + L to open load)

7) A 'disable Geordie accent' switch, pet :D

1. Need Steam cloud saves
2. Need Auto cycle off option (in game)
3. Top edge scroll is not actually top of screen
4. Need Restart map option
5. Civlopedia should be available in main menu
6. Trade overview screen that actually shows all possible routes to/from all of your cities like civ5 had (not just routes from traders current location).
6. Rename cities
7. Fix last thing built is wrong in build list
8. Fortify doesn't wake up near enemy

Id love a map re-roll option.

Id also like an option to start a new game using the same settibgs as the last started game.

Also, regardi g the Geordie accent toggle: I feel like Tywin Lannister is more appropriate than Ned Stark to be the narrator to civ, considering how most of us play... ;)

Oh Yes!

* Map reroll, also in multiplayer (so you don't have to setup a new game everytime).
* A hotkey for next unit ('W' in Civ 5)
* Clickable column header to sort in 'reports', so you can see, for instance, the city with highest production.

Better separation of colors between unexplored territory and explored but out-of-range territory. Too hard to tell them apart. I liked unexplored territory better as fog, a la Civ 5.

Fix France and Greece having practically the same colours. War as France against Greece was so difficult! Can't tell at a glance which unit belongs to which Civ.

1) Cities showing cultural tile expansion like Civ 5. ( How many turns away and which tiles are up for expansion )
2) A replay mini map after finishing a game that shows cities been conquered etc... ( Civ 3 had the best version of this! )
3) Hall of fame with at least the amount of detail Civ 5 had with corresponding replay files

Having played a bit more, I have found the following which could be described as both annoyances as they are, and QOL improvements if they change:

1) Don't close the 'buy with faith' screen after buying a unit - often you want to buy more!

2) When I need to move a unit at the end of a turn, focus on that unit automatically

3) When building a wonder, on the animation screen, have a reminder about what that wonder benefits actually are!

4) If you hit escape while a leader is talking, don't fade to black and then fade up for the next screen - just show the next screen dialogue box immediately (or have a toggle in the options to choose this)

5) When hovering the mouse over a bonus / luxury / strategic item icon, after a second fade up the background tile details as well. PLEASE!

6) Reduce 'fog of war' parchment effect for regular routes travelled by traders, units or ships. Have 'fog of war' recede on already visited tiles scaling with era - to reflect better cartography / communications / map-making etc.

7) Show how many units of a resource I have to spare on the 'your offer / their offer' diplomacy screen, so I can decide if I can afford it

8) If a city is locked to a particular citizen focus (i.e. production) show this in the city bar, or underneath it

9) Visually show the impact of a missionary spreading religion to the (rather odd) circular / pie chart of the current worship of a city, BEFORE you move to next unit

10) The names of the cities are often obscured by the units within them, even when those unit symbols are transparent - they need to be above the units / or the units need to be shown above the name

When you click on a city open the details bar, production bar and citizen assignment straight away. Don't leave me repeatedly clicking the city wondering why it's not working to only them realise I have to click a stupid small button at the bottom.

When in city view make the esq key exit the city but not open the menu!

Let me rebind the screen movement keys from arrow to wasd!

Let me have hot keys for unit cycling.

Don't grey out fortified units bubbles just mashes them a different shape (also bring back 'alert'/'sentry').

Give me a slider to control fog opacity.

Let me have hot keys for tile yields.

Show me predicted city tile expansion.

Give me a pop up/alert for each new citizen.

When in settler lense with a settler selected show the outline of the max borders if I were to settle. Actually just give me the option to see this anywere without a settler selected.

Make roads stand out more and let traders bust fog.

Back button in civlopiedia.

Trade list of all routes from all cities I own!

In the city construction screen show all the relevant info about districts in the tool tip (adjacency etc) don't make me look in the tech tree or civlopidia.

When I click an alert awsy if I have a unit selected don't even think about making it move!

Biggest qol would be to hire a proper UI designer and act on feedback....

- Restart map option (that stays after turn 1)
- Allow text you type, like in the civilopedia, to be selectable (with mouse of with ctrl+a) for ease of use
- 'Don't tell me this again' option for advisors
- Improve yield UI so that the resource label UI doesn't overlap it
- Show predicted city tile expansion
- Faster tooltips
- Fix top edge scrolling

Unless I'm missing something, the only way to tell who beat you, and how, is to hit "one more turn" and then check the victory progress after the cutscene. It'd be nice if it were a bit more obvious.

- Not have the autosaves all out of order
- Improve the religion/pressure UI substantially. Honestly they can just copy civ V's and I'd be happy

- Get an alert when a citizen is born or a city expands.
- Get an alert of new gossips which you can dismis and not dialogue panels that disapear after a few seconds.
- Seeing, when chosing production in a city, what was the last thing that was just produced, not the one before that.
- When the sound of a new barbarian camp pops, having an alert leading where it has apeared.
- A slider to choose how many city states I want when creating a game.
- An option when creating games to ban finding the same civ with diferent leaders (Or copies of the same leader which is an actual bug).
- When we click some interface objects don't act as if they were transparent and click the map in the back too.

Just a few of the things I would like.

Hello fellow CIV V CBP player!

What surprises me is how many of what I would consider to be essential QOL improvements which made it into either the Vanilla CIV V game or the CBP Modded version are absent from the new game at launch. Given that we know some features are baked in (like day / night effects and rotation) I suspect we might see some of these added into future DLC?

Automatically change to yield view when selecting a settler/builder.
An option to change the tile info popup delay.
