Question about GOTMs and HoF mod

Hi all.. Wow, have I been gone a long time.

I think the last (and also, I think, only) GOTM I played was #2 and I didn't fare too well in that one, but I have followed the GOTM threads off and on and have recently gotten back into civ, so I think I'm going to give one of the current games a try.

Anyway, on to my question: I see that the HoF mod is required for GOTMs now. I've downloaded and installed it, but looking at the HoF mod page and looking through forums, I can't find ANY explanation of what most of these mods do. Can anyone explain them or perhaps point me in the direction of a listing of some sort so I know just what these tools are that I get to work with?

I have a question about HOF mode as well. Is it possible for me to play WOTM, if I have already installed the latest HOF mode version for BtS? Or do I have to install HOF mode for Warlords spearately? is it going to cause any compatibility problems?

There's a separate HOFMod for every expansion; and there are no compatibility-problems ...
