Question about play now

hi everybody, I would like to ask you, how can i change the number of civilizations which participating in the game, in play now mode .Just like when playing custom game .I would like to set the number of civs in the game for any world size so i will not have to go through the custom game to set it the way i like.

You can't from within the game.

You can however do what you want by modifying the Civ4WoldInfo.XML file (Assets\XML\GameInfo\...). There you can set the default number of Civ's for each given world size. A Play now Game will allways start with this number of civs.

Beware however - this has side-effects, since that default number is also used for some other things. Most notable for the Requirements of some Quests - like how many Libraries you have to build for example. (Which is a huge atrocity - i guess they could not be bothered with adding a extra tag...)

Thank you very much Refar, that was exactly what I was looking for and I am grateful to you.
Yes I am aware of the side effects you mentioned but I like the game a bit more crowded lol, while I see the whole civs pictures and not just their names also now I will not have to open the extra slots manually.
