Question about resource slots and buildings?

So some building grant extra resource slots to a settlement. Are those extra slots tied to that building

If you overbuild a buildings that granted you extra slots with a building that grants no extra slots do you loose the slots granted by the earlier building?
If you overbuild with a budling that provides the same bonus slot granted by the older building do you get an extra slot or do the number of slots remain the same?

I don't think the resources slot are kept after age transition, only the base yields (nor the +1 to quarter, % growth rate, and so on). So there would be no such thing as overbuilding these slots.

I think all buildings lose extra slots when becoming obsolete, so you can't overbuild something which grants extra slots.
