I have a Europe map and I want to fix the starting positions myself.

I remember with Civ2 I used to use the cheat and play put a settler of every civ I wanted to play with at the right places.

I have made some unique civs and I want to use them and I know there is no starting position programme for it.

How can I do this?Do I need civ multitool for it?

Greetings!

Hello everyone!

I have solved the problem myself! This is what I did.

I started a game with the civs I want on the map I want.

I saved the game.

I used the civ multitool and loaded my saved game in the multitool.

I opened the map editor (civeditor) of the map I wanted to use (europe) and put on the grids and coordinates.

I replaced the settlers and workers of every civ on the right coordinates shown on the map by filling in the coordinates in the civ multitool for the settlers and workers and scouts.

I saved it with the multitool over my saved game.

Then I loaded the game and... voila!

My scenario has

1.Arabia

2.Iran

3.Kurdistan

4.Ottoman Empire

5.Israel

6.Greece

7.Roman Empire

8.Spain

9.Portugal

10.Germany

11.England

12.France

13.Netherlands

14.Scandinavia

15.Russia

16.Mongols

My leaderpics are all different for every era.For example, the Germans have Hitler in the

This is cooooollll

I am playing Iran.

Ok that was that!

If anyone has any questions I am happy to answer :)

Alireza,

You need to make sure you move the units through a neutral location to make sure you do not accidently generate contacts from the start of the game.

If two units are in the same or adjacent locations for any part of a turn it can trigger a contact event that would be out of place.

This is also fairly well documented to be included in the upcoming editor patch that is expected from Firaxis as there have already been 423,276 posts on the subject of wanting to control the start positions for civs.

AliReza

1. With Civ3Edit.Exe make start pozitions with overley button (or O key) for wanted civs. With Right-Click on tile You can set Properties-BarbarianCamp with proper tribes.

2. With Gramphos's MultiTool create a CPF file. Edit ID# (1-Rome.... 16-England 17-first-your-extra-civ etc) and Names

3. Download best Gramphos's CTP (link bellow)
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11829
Follow instructions that came with.

4. Wait for truly Editor from Firaxis.........
