Question for the Aussies regarding musketmen

Now that Grenadiers have been pushed back in the tech tree, has this made it worthwhile to produce musketmen or is it still best to just wait for grenadiers or riflemen?

I've played a few games of bts and found the musketmen have a longer life span. The grenadier is no longer an issue but watch out for curassiers. They pack a mean punch

This should make playing with Louis XIV a lot more fun. I love my musketeers.

Sounds good, I'm glad i'll be able to use musketmen more now, makes the game more interesting when you have a wider veriaty of units to use. And of course will make the French UU stronger.

I thought the unique units based on Musketmen were already powerful enough to make up for the short shelf life. Musketeers will be more useful for sure, but now it seems like Oromo Warriors might be the best UU in the whole expansion

Don't know about that, I fell in love with the Ottoman UU for their +25% attack on everything on foot pre-gunpowder.

The Ottoman UU is awsome. I was undefeatable with them. BTS will make their reign even longer.
