Question-- Restricting Eras and Techs

Hi,

I am very new to modifying civIV and I know absoutely nothing. I was just wondering what is the most simple way to restrict the max era I can research technology in?

Basically, how do I "delete" some of the later eras?

If you dont want to go Industrial, change the code of the first Industrial techs. Put Disable at the value 1, I am sure that it wont sound familiar so I would recommend reading some XML tutorials.
