In order to get around that, set your OCN lower, but your %OCN up higher. This will still allow you to build the FP at OCN/2, but corruption won't hit until OCN% is reached.

hi guys.. anyone knows a utility that can capture a portion of the screen? i dont want the printscreen because it captures the whole screen and you have to edit it. i only want a portion of the screen to be captured.

There are lots in trial versions . "5 clicks" , for example .
Go to google , type "screen capture" , and you'll get plenty .

yes ive done that... but i cant find a screen capture that only capture a portion of the screen before pasting to a paint program.

Use DeskScan, it's freeware.

It's very small and simple to use - you can save direct to .jpg or copy to clipboard.

What determines which cities are in the top 5 cities list? It doesn't seem to be population or number of wonders. Or a combination either.

City culture, I believe. Certainly it always seems that way to me.

Yep, Top 5 is sorted by local culture accumulated by current owner. (That's why cities most likely drop out of the list when they're captured)

Question: I've never used RCP before, is it N/E/W/S moves count as 1 & NE/NW/SE/SW(diagonal) moves count as 1.5, or the opposite?? Also the numbers don't round, right??

The opposite. The grid is slanted, so N/E/W/S costs 1.5 and the diagonals only count 1. The numbers do round, also. At first it was thought they didn't, but they do. Truncate, actually, not round.

This really isn't a civ III question but I didn't know where else to post... but... how do you use your own pic as an avatar? is there somewhere you can upload it or do you get it as a privlegde when you do a certain amount of posts?

At 30 posts you can set your own title (like yours is "Chieftain"). At 300, you can use a custom avatar.
