Another nuke question, if you drop a nuke where no-one is, do you still recieve penalty?

You're obsessed with nukes!

I tried once - in the ocean far away from people. No changes in attitude.

I never get to play with nukes and im obsessed with it?that is contracdictory.

back on topic-thanks for answering my question thetrooper.

1) i still can't get the new corruption system in democracy. how can i have productive cities in three continent. for example: have a palace in china. create forbidden palace in mexico to have good cities in america to fight. australia seemed very easy to conquest, but once i did, all my cities had only 1 in production because of corruption. same for cities in europe and africa in the same game. ¿can i have them to improve before changing to comunism?

2) i've just gotten civ 3 1.16. ¿do i just download latest version in my language? ¿will that give me c3c or do i need to buy it?

3) in civ 2 units that had 2/3 or 1/3 movement points (that's below one) by travelling through a road, where penalized in combat. ¿that doesn't happen anymore? cause it's not shown in unit movement it just shows 1/1

thanks.

You will always have corrupt cities in widespread empires.

1.29f is the latest patch for vanilla civ3. I'm not sure what languages it is available in. It will not give you C3C, you need to buy that separate.

Partial movement remaining does not affect combat. It's up to you to keep track of partial movement points however.

how do you make a Great Leader buildable in c3c (patchd to v1.22f), i've tried to add my own 'mimic' unit which has exactly the same settings as the stock 'Leader', but has 2 differences, its only buildable by me and the unit name is different... 'CHEATER' needles to say, the special action buttons dont/didnt appear.

It means that the game uses the same seed every time you reload the game.

Say you've got a warrior. You pop a hut. Out comes 3 barbs. "That sucks," you say, "I wanted a tech. I know, I'll reload." So you reload. Now, if PRS is on, you'll keep popping warriors all the live-long day. But if it's off, maybe you'll get something else. This goes for pretty much everything. Flipping, battles, anything that's introduced randomly will be affected by this.

There are ways around it if it's on. Move the units to a different order. Move to a different tile. Skip a turn.

Or copy the saved game on another PC ;) :)

Also: what does the 'Seed' number that you can digit in the upper right corner in C3C v.1.20/22 when starting a game affect?

That just determines how the world is built. If you know the seed of a world you like, you can enter it there. You can also put words there as well.

The seed number, world settings, and AI opponents must be identical. I.e. seed "123456" will produce radically different worlds even if all you do is swap Egypt for Persia as one of the opponents.

But, HOW the world changes? Which parameters are involved? Land mass, weather etc.? AI opponents number? Other parameters like enabling/disabling some victory conditions, the aforesaid 'preserve random seed', linked start positions?

ah, thanks for your answers! :)
