where do I downlaod the vanilla for civ 3
I am downloading warhammer and it is the last requirement I need.
I already did the patch and downloaded warhammer and now I need "vanilla"

I think "vanila" refers to the original version of CivIII. You alredy have it if you can play PTW or C3C.

It comes with Gold or Complete versions.

This is a stupid one with obviously an easy answer, but I'm already half-way through knowing how to beat a Deity game, and still don't know what irrigating a cow does?

Does it give you more food somehow?

I thought despotism removed that effect of irrigating tiles with already 2 food =/

I have a question... Whenever you capture/destroy a city, you get a certain amount of gold. How is this calculated?

How do I use the cool "watercolor?" terrain art? That people like to use so much.

I don't like it all, I prefer snoops terrain mod! And I'm pretty sure the majority of people prefer snoops to!

Anyway, to answer your question: Any terrain mod can be used the same way. You replace the original terrain graphics files, that you can find somewhere in the Civ3 directory structure, with the modified ones with the same name. (make sure you back-up)

Total gold/# cities?
Something tells me bigger cities yield more $$$.

I have a few questions, when I capture a foreign city and build workers with it, they come out not looking like slaves, but like my regular modern workers:
worker.JPG

- Do they require support?
- Do they work at 1/2 speed?
- I have heard of "ethnic cleansing" and selecting which citizen you want to become a worker, is this really possible and if so how?
- Same as previous but for poprushing.
- Is there such a thing as a "save queue" option for build orders? A lot of my cities are the same, and requite the same improvements, so it would be nice if such an option really existed.

If they are foreign citizens, they are slaves. This is simply a display bug. Re-load your game and they will look normal.

No. I believe the last citizen is always selected.

Could you walk me through exactly how to upload snoopys? Does his terrain come with the game? because I know I saw a modified custom map that came with the game with snoopy on it

If it doesn't come with the game, where exactly can I get it?

Snoopy's terrain mod is included in the "complete" release of the game, but standard, its included as a scenario. Select "game content" then select snoopy's mod, the rest is set up as a normal epic game.

However, if you like to see snoops terrain in a standard epic game, and maybe even other mods, then you should do as I said before: Move around files within the directory structure. Do this within the windows explorer/macintosh finder. It kind of speaks for itself in my opinion.
Snoop terrain can be found in
.../Civ III Complete/Conquests Game Data/Scenarios/Sn00pys Terrain Greener (C3C)/Art/ (... is where ever on your HD your civ3 folder is installed)
And the standard terrain graphics are here:
.../Civ III Complete/Civilization 3 Game Data/Art/
here:
.../Civ III Complete/Play the World Game Data/Art/
and here:
.../Civ III Complete/Conquests Game Data/Art/
You can see some of the files in these directories have the same name as the files in snoops terrain directory. Simply replace the original with snoops. (ensure yourself you backed everything up, in case something goes wrong)

If you do not feel comfortable messing with the game data like that, then maybe you shouldn't bother. (or maybe you should, to make yourself comfortable)

The watercolor terrain mod can be downloaded somewhere from this website, installing it works the same way though.

Here's a link in the C&C forum which deals with terrain mods. There is some fantastic work in there.

Yep will do. Might even have time later tonight, I'll see. It shouldn't take too long, I'll just place a few AI towns, cities and metropolis's in the editor. Then just place a few troops next to them, leaving the towns undefended. :)
