What is a TOW?

It is a Tube-launched Optically-tracked Wire-guided missile :) (fancy bazooka)

Is it considered bad-form to get a ROP, then move stacks of units into place and wait for the ROP to expire and attack?

You will get a rep hit for having your units in their territory when you declare war, so yes. Some players also look at it as being exploitative, but I (and many others) have no issues with doing so :)

Is there any way to change the number of turns before the game is over once you are in the middle of the game?
I could have sworn I set my game to 1000 turns, but it's telling me it's going to end at 2050 (i'm at 2030), so apparently I didn't, but i'm not ready to end yet. Help?

thanks

you can't adjust it in hte middle of a game. Only at the begining, sorry

I did a search and couldn't find an answer to my question. I'm sure it's out there somewhere but it's a BIIIIIIG forum.

Is there anyway to get the comp to play it's self.

Sometimes I don't want to play but just sit back and watch 8 computer controlled civs beat the crap out of each other.

No...I'm almost 100% sure you cannot M-Unit. (but I only have vanilla Civ)...and there could be a mod out there that allows you to do so.

Yes, all you have to do is just set yourself on a one tile island, set your city to produce wealth, and turn off science. Then, if you hold "Enter" down (to skip turns), you can just watch the AI do whatever it pleases.

It's fun to watch the early game, watching the AI expand. They are not quite as smart as humans. ;)

Could you also switch "off" the "Always wait at end of turn" option to avoid even having to do that? :)

@Eman: But if you do that, then it would still require a pushing of enter if you have nothing to do during the turn.

That's true, of course.......I just wasn't thinking, obviously!

You would have to go into the editor, and edit every single unit's movement points. Then save it as a scenario/mod, and load it every time you played the game. Waste of time in my opinion :p

Welcome to CfC btw :)
