Quick question about The Momus scenario

Perpentach wants me to change my religion, and he's already furious with me. But he can't actually declare war on me, right? In the scenario, he's hosting the contest, and the way he's constantly having people declare war on each other, pretty much everyone is furious with everyone else, but with Perpentach, it shouldn't matter. He won't declare war on you for something like this, right?

My experience is that Perpentech won't declare war on you, although you can decare war on him. He can trade, though, so attitude can matter.

Thanks for the quick answer! I would switch to OO if it would keep him off my back, but I won't otherwise just on principle.
