Quick Questions.

Whenwill we get a full disclosure of units both military and civilian? When will we get more than just a Civilization VI discussion forum on the civfanatics home page?

Pretty good summary of what we know so far is right here: http://well-of-souls.com/civ/index.html.

Firaxis will release more info on their own schedule, but I expect some interesting info next week, based on info in this thread: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=571254

Thanks for the link. The Naval units and the Horse units look really impressive. I didn't see any carriers but I'm sure they'll be included. No fleet would be complete without one. And although i understand there's no transport uni,. I like the concept of unit/support unit stacking. I hope Naval units get the same ability. That could make for some interesting amphibious planning.

Don't forget that the extra cost of the Deluxe version also includes the 25th Anniversary Digital Soundtrack. Depending on how one would value that, in addition to the DLCs, should also be taken into account when judging whether the extra cost is worthwhile.

I can't remember any game with things like soundtrack or artbook increased cost of deluxe edition beyond cost of actual game content inside. Normally it costs less regardless.

I was talking about perceived value. Here in America, Civ 6 Basic Edition is $59.99 and the Deluxe Edition is $79.99. That $20.00 difference gets you access to the 4 post-release DLCs as well as the 25th Anniversary Digital Soundtrack. I’m sure there are people out there that are over the moon for that Soundtrack and will consider the extra $20.00 well worth the investment because of it.

Personally, I couldn’t care less about the Soundtrack or the Scenarios coming in the DLCs. I’m only interested in the Civilization and Leaders, and possibly the Maps – depending on whether they’re static maps or map scripts.
