YAY! I love the new Ancient, but the modern looks like his head is too small, IMO.

That's why I've posted the new ancient head - the others will match the size; I left the old previews there so people could compare them with the new artwork.

I like your Israeli mod, GOGF and Drift's Finnish mod. Are both of you happy for me to use your city lists and civilopedia entries?

Of course you can use the stuff from my Finnish mod. :)

I've attached a new version of Hector. No doubt you'll all tell me what you think ;) .

@Drift - thanks :goodjob:

his armour needs to be bronze- he is after all a bronze age hero ;)

his skin needs ot be a bit darker- the Justinian skin tone is about perfect for it again.

and I odnt knwo about every thing else yet, I still need to try and find some classical art work portraying hector in it

Ok, Xen, thanks for the feedback. I've attached a new version below :) . I've changed the background as well, because I think I've found a better one than in the previous preview.

I might start a new thread so that I can put all the leaderheads on page one in separate posts. It's a growing project :cooool:

I was just looking at the Queen Tueta leaderhead and thought it might be nice for her to have different hairstyles throughout the ages. Here's what I came up with, although I don't expect everyone to like it ;) !!

King David looks great! Excellent job!
For Queen Tueta, I like the idea, though I'm not too particular about the modern hairstyle.

I knew people wouldn't like the modern style....if sure if I modified a little, it'd look better... :)

I've been thinking baout hector, and, here are soem general changes-

1) the face shoudl be fuller- look at most classicla greco-Roman sculture- you very rarelly see a thin face, particuraley on the great leaders (as an Italliot in descendence myself, i can say that althouugh tier is a healthy verity of facial types, most other itallians in heritage and all the greeks I know have rather full faces)

2)hector seems bit "middle aged" to me- IMO, he shoudl be young- more or less in his late 20s, and the time in which he would still be in his prime of fighting, but liek in the Illiad, setteling down to begin a familly life

3)I vote we give him a hoplite helmet put on his head in the style of the pericles bust, or wait to see what helmet is put on the trojan chariot by bebro

also, interesting concept for teuta, but I liek the origional hair style better for the ancient era, though thats just y personal opinion, no history to back up that she might not have used that hair stlye or anything :)

I didn't want to say anything before but I liked the first industrial age Teutea/Helen better than this one.

About the Modern age... Maybe a nice bun? And some thin framed glasses, too...

Yes, maybe you should start another one just for your leader heads (in the grpahics Section) And one in the Creation and Customization for the Mod.

Also, you so need to make a Goldflash leader head. Goldflash is probably the most infulential person in human history.

These are all great leaderheads, and seem to be progressing well.

The only criticism I feel I can make with any authority is that your "Asiatic woman" looks entirely too much like a Geisha or some other East Asian entertainer for me to ever believe her as a Polynesian leader. If you are really planning on using her as one, I strongly recommend against it. I could buy her as a leader of any East or even Southeast Asian country, but not as a Polynesian. Her dress and hairstyle, and even her facial features, just scream Pacific Asian not Pacific Islander. Keep in mind that the Polynesians aren't Asian, they're Polynesian, whatever similarities people may ascribe them. Unless you're postulating some alternate history scenario, I guess....

Anyways, once again, excellent leaderheads, love to see how they turn out.

I thought people would dislike the new Tueta hairstyles; still, it was just an experiment. I'll keep the original ones.

Wait...don't discard them all, just the modern one. The rest are great.

I've now spent hours and hours rendering the original Queen Tueta (with some minor refinements to the graphics) - so she's staying with the original hairstyle now. That seems to be what most people wanted anyway :) .

I still don't like Tutea's industrial age hat. :/ but I'm going to have to get over it, aren't I?
