Rallying call for all interested: Colonisation of the Moon mod!

I'd be thrilled if we all had the same version! I won't bother downloading Belizan's then just yet. I'm still uploading my scaled down version JIC.
 
So, I had a clean, working version and I mixed in and out changed XML files until I narrowed it to the units/unitclasses files, Matt. So I might start looking there.

I know there are a lot of new Python changes, but the CTD is not coming from them. I have a version of the mod with all the Python but no XML changes, and it's 100% stable.
 
And other than units I've added nothing in several weeks. So as long as the Art is defined that end is good.

Quick review on new hotkeys: like them all except the shift+Ctrl+p one does not clear the mark on the terrain when you move the mouse, rendering it rather useless. Nice job on the other ones though.
 
you know how it highlights a fact cross area around the mouse. The highlighted tiles are still highlighted when the mouse is moved.

Also found a CTD bug to do with AI Agents. I don't know if this is the same bug you gays were having. Back to debugging.

Ok, in the attachments are a background -and loading screen for the mod. It's essentially fluff, but a nice touch if I may say so. :)

Try it out, and see how it looks for you guys in the info screens and while loading another save while in the mod.

It does not affect anything from vanilla civ4 as long as you put the unzipped folderstructure straight in your moonmod folder.

Do we need to make a folder? At least Matt needs to get it since he's the Key-master!
 
Stick the attached file in assests/xml/units and tell me if you are still getting CTD. This fixes one CTD bug but there could be several others.

already got it though the image looks poor quality in-game.

grr.. we still aren't bug free I alt+tab out of the game and when i went back to the game it CTD on me

Yeah, it's made from a running camera scene in an intromovie. :( So no improvement possible there. The moonbase picture can't be improved, but is the best qua background IMO. I could perhaps create a better one with a shot over the curve of Earth towards the moon. But I need to setup things for that. Will take time.
 
Check the Global Defines Matt. I used an old one last night and alt-tab'd over and over with no issue. Also no problem exiting.
 
I know their most be another bug somewhere but I don't seen to be getting it. I have played a while now without any problems. I have also been doing a bunch of alt+tabing without any problems. The other bug must be another one of those weird bugs that are completely random when they happen thus making them very hard to spot.
 
Matt - before you re-release the mod do you want to nerf resource food and bump up improvement food to compensate? Also, do we want to adjust the culture levels so the first jump is at 100 and not 10?

sure I can do the food thing. Where would I ajust the culture levels?
