As if it wasnt bad enough that it took me 5 hours of solid tinkering to get the game to run at all due to DVD/SD4 issues, I'm now constantly crashing...
Im on a P4 2.5GHz system -> 768mb DDR --> Geforce FX5200 256mb running dual monitors.
When it crashes it goes back to the desktop, however my left (main) monitor is totally black, and my secondary monitor (on the right w/ start bar) drops into 16 colour mode..
after a restart the game will run for about 5 - 20 minutes (different each time) then crash again.. the most annoying thing is i dont get an error message.. or if i do its in my main monitor so i can't see what it is.
Im running the latest Forceware drivers (81.94)

Edit: on a sidenote on minimum detail i still run incredibly slow.. probably about 8fps or so, and the videos (when you're talking to world leaders) its much worse :\
