The mouse of my computer stopped working, I spend over an hour trying to fix the thing, installed new drivers (or what are they?) and such, because I was 100% sure that the reason wasn't in the mechanics of the mouse. I had opened the mouse and noticed that there was dust inside it, but not that it had gone under the wheel which controls the left-right-direction. I was pretty frustrated when I opened the mouse again and fixed it for good.
Now I don't only have a working mouse, but the whole episode scared me to do backup copies of stuff I have on the hard drive (and that is quite a mess since I haven't organized it at all when copying from previous computer &computers at work &c). I'm glad that I finally got into it!
