Man, we've had so many threads like this and I will always give it the highest score. Is it perfect? No, no game is perfect. But is it the most fun from all the Civ series? Yes, yes it is. That's why I give it a 10/10.

8/10, it will be 9 when the patch comes out and fixes the few bugs I've experienced.

9/10 same here - could it be perfect? Well, no, its software alas.

But seriously - these Conquests scenarios are so excellent - providing balanced games out of the box - fun from many angles (playing the underdog or the historical winner). Lots of variety - different units and concepts in each conquest. Not only that, but lots of great balancing changes made to the random games too.

Did they fix some of the diplomacy issues that arose in vanilla Civ3 that got nixed in the first patch (like the fact that you could never get a civ to give one of your cities back after they help you liberate it from an enemy while in an MPP)? Haven't tried yet.

9/10 This is simply an outstanding expansion pack with so much content and a core game that has come so far. Yet, I cannot give the 10 out of 10. Firaxis simply cannot give up their pig-headed ways and provide some basic, Basic, BASIC items to the game that are sorely needed and have been begged for for far too long.

But alas, I have grown used to its inadequecies such as they are. Nobody can have every feautre they would like, but certainly there are a core few that have nearly unanimous support that are not included in Civ.

Oh well.

Here's to hopin'. :goodjob:

9/10, but that could be biased towards the best game in the world :p

8 for sure :goodjob:

Amazing game and the best Civ I have ever played but I felt a few small things were missed so for now only 8.

PS:
it must be said that I almost never give 10 so they only lost one point in my mind.

While Civ Conquests is a good addition to Civilization 3 I am surprised you are all willing to give Firaxis such high marks.

The Forbidden Palace redistributes corruption, rather than relieving it, bug is enough to drop Civ Conquests below 5 points for me.

Also, the pack seems a little rushed and I think some of the new artwork (such as the new bonus resources, terrain tiles and the craters) looks a little substandard.

When we get a patched Conquests I will consider raising my mark up to 8 or 9 but due to the many problems I will only give it 4. The Forbidden Palace bug has really spoiled it for me since it will seriously affect my high scores (that is, current high scores will not fit neatly with post patch high scores).

9 - Almost perfect!

I must say that I like the Conquests, as they are shorter than the full-blown games. I also like the history focus in each Conquest.

8. But only because i always try so hard (and fail miserably) to get myself away from the game. Its taking over my life. LOL

I voted 9 as I feel while it's really really awsome, there are still features I want that aren't there, such as setting up specific diplomacy for a scenario.

Let's see...

10 for the Conquests
9 for the epic game (love the traits, but don't like the new bombard, no plagues)

Averages to 9.5

-1 for the distribution - I absolutely understand and accept any delay until it went 'Gold', but I fail to understand why it was available 2 or 3 weeks later in many countries
-2 until the FP/GPT/SGL name bug is patched

Because of the Multiplayer. The game itself is somewhat divine! Or should I say SIDious!

But the missing info-menues in MP suck.
