8 - Big Ben (requires Commerce): Really helps with purchasing late game buildings, allowing you to save more for all victory types.
4 - Brandenburg Gate: I feel that this really just doesn't give you what you are looking for in a wonder. The exp boost is "okay" and when I'm in going for a dom victory i rarely run out of great generals.
7 - Louvre (requires Exploration): A pretty good wonder that I usually pick up on cultural victories. I often find myself running out of places to put my art, and this really helps solve this problem.

    Modern Era:

5 - Broadway: A decent wonder except for the fact that unlike great artists, great musicians have an ability that can really help turn the tide in the late game against other cultural contenders.
3 - Cristo Redentor: It really doesn't provide a huge amount. just underwhelming.
9 - Eiffel Tower: Nice boost to tourism, and w/ happiness to boot!
4 - Kremlin (requires Order): Social policy makes this worth building if im going for order, however the armor construction is really only good if you are goinng for a dom victory, and even then its not the best.
6 - Neuschwanstein Castle : Its a good wonder, however I think someone above mentioned the problem that i see with it: the bonus comes a bit too late. Don't get me wrong it can still be worth going for, its just not great.
9 - Prora (requires Autocracy): This really helps balance out the extra unhappiness from puppet cities when you are trying to dominate. However it does force you to go autocracy which is rarely the best choice.
8 - Statue of Liberty (requires Freedom): A nice production boost that wil help you either culturally or scientifically.

    Atomic Era:

3 - Great Firewall: Basically a wonder to counter a wonder. Can really help but very situational.
1 - Pentagon: Bleh...... this late in the game, you really only really need to upgrade 1 or 2 more times and that doesn't pay for itself.
6 - Sydney Opera House: The social policy is nice, however, it is only okay at everything else.

    Information Era:

6 - CN Tower : A decent cultural wonder, one that I definitely like to pick up if I get there fast, but a bit too late for my taste to be great.
9 - Hubble Space Telescope : Fantastic for the science victory. Not much else to say.
4 - International Space Station (World Congress): Think it comes a bit too late to really have a huge impact on the shape of the game.

7 - Prora (requires Autocracy): +2 Happiness and +1 Happiness for every 2 social policies. 1 free Social Policy. Must be built in coastal city.
8 - Statue of Liberty (requires Freedom): +1 Production from Specialists in every city and provides 1 free Social Policy

Yikes. Aesthetics at least has the advantage of having a strong finisher, and you could conceivably get Ethics with, say, your 12th policy. It might save you enough culture for one or even close to two policies over the rest of the game. But there's no chance you'll get even half that many policies after building Cristo Redentor.

    Industrial Era:

10 - Big Ben (requires Commerce): Never not useful. Absolutely beastly with the commerce SP bonus. The flexibility of purchasing makes this so applicable - for science boosts, offensive or defensive military mobilization, developing weak cities, or augmenting acute happiness troubles. There are few games where i don't gun for this ASAP. The +25% capital gold from the SP is also one of the best.
8 - Brandenburg Gate: Sooo much fun building super-elite units with this + morale + Alhambra and so on. Not always useful, but i often build it out of availability
8 - Louvre (requires Exploration): The best culture wonder. Easy to theme, GA is also the best of the GWAMs. Exploration opener is rarely not useful either.

    Modern Era:

5 - Broadway: Pretty meh. Not easy to theme. Useful for that CV push, but not mandatory.
4 - Cristo Redentor: It was 33% in vanilla. 10% is virtually nothing, even when coupled with the 10% from Aesthetics.
8 - Eiffel Tower: The tourism is great, happiness is handy, but not god-tier.
3 - Kremlin (requires Order): Surprisingly bad, often built by AI. No thanks.
7 - Neuschwanstein Castle : Decent in a pinch, but i rarely build castles. VERY useful for large empires with lots of puppets, as they often build castles.
7 - Prora (requires Autocracy): The GNK Eiffel effect. Massive happiness boost, which is needed for warmongers. Defo not bad.
10 - Statue of Liberty (requires Freedom): I can't believe they even gave this already great wonder a boost with the free SP. I find freedom to be the best ideology too, when you go tradition with 4 cities this is a monster.

    Atomic Era:

0 - Great Firewall : The effect is intriguing, but entirely useless.
3 - Pentagon: This couldn't possibly save you more than a few thousand coins. Utterly neglible.
5 - Sydney Opera House: Late game free SP, this was mandatory for the old CV. Still pretty good, but not for much more than statmaxing.

    Information Era:

6 - CN Tower : Tremendous effect, at an entirely useless part of the game. Really marginal effect at this point, serves for nothing other than grinding out points.
9 - Hubble Space Telescope : Completely make-or-break for science victories.
6 - International Space Station (World Congress): I've yet to build this, but in terms of science victory this is a poor man's hubble.

No you can't actually realistically ever get a free policy from ethics as it increases the social policy cost by just getting it. It's a waste of a policy.

CR has the benefit of speeding up your aquisition of policies (as unlike ethic it doesn't cost culture) but its not as good as any of the +1 policy ones.

Is the Louvre worth a social policy if I don't plan on doing anything else in exploration? This is for a CV obviously

I'd say it's definitely worthwhile to take the Louvre opener.

Then again, I'm such a wonder ho that I find myself taking almost all of the openers just so that I can unlock the wonders they give access to. :p

    Industrial Era:

6 - Big Ben (requires Commerce): Good, but not stellar to me. I don't buy that many things in normal games, so my savings are generally not that big.
6 - Brandenburg Gate: Good, but not great. The extra 15 XP is nice to be able to pop out level 4 units from the go.
8 - Louvre (requires Exploration): Arguably the only one of the Culture wonders I'd really make a run for (ok, Sistine Chapel also).

    Modern Era:

3 - Broadway: Too late, and not that great bonus.
7 - Cristo Redentor: I like this one, even if the calculations seem to indicate it's worth less than I thought. At least I don't pay a policy for it.
8 - Eiffel Tower: Used to be a 9 or 10, but still good.
4 - Kremlin (requires Order): Hmm ... Armor units. Do you actually produce those?
10 - Neuschwanstein Castle : My favorite wonder. This wonder provides insane amounts of happiness AND culture AND gold when going wide. What's not to like?
9 - Prora (requires Autocracy): Great! Lots of happiness.
10 - Statue of Liberty (requires Freedom): Major wonder. And now you also get a free SP?

    Atomic Era:

4 - Great Firewall : Worst wonder concept ever. But the effect is not too bad - but comes very late.
6 - Pentagon: This can save you a good deal of gold imo.
7 - Sydney Opera House: Good wonder, but does seem to come very late in game.

    Information Era:

10 - CN Tower : The effect of this is a 10, but it probably has little impact on game.
10 - Hubble Space Telescope : Like above. Huge wonder, but you're unlikely to get it before someone is winning.
8 - International Space Station (World Congress): Another great wonder that will probably not get a lot of play in reality.

Ok, I'll tally these up soon, but it would be great if there were some more ratings first to get a more accurate result, and then it's onto the policy trees and civilizations.

Interesting to see Sydney get slammed. I've been building it if I could and getting the themeing bonus with my muscians.

I'm not familiar with the culture/tourism game on BNW, I've just been building enough to avoid getting swamped and I've been lucky playing UN/WC politics to make my ideology the world ideology but are Great Musicians significantly better used to culture bomb a rival?

If so, how do you use it?

Say I have -9 happiness from dissidents and I pop some musicians. Do I send it to the Civ with the most influence on my Civ which also has an opposing ideology?

Also, does the culture boost from Great Writers count towards your culture bar defense relative to a rival's tourism?
