Rayoz12's Cheat Panel

Rayoz12's Cheat Panel Mod v0.0.4

Hi @Maaka ,
this is where the mods go
C:\Users\"UserName"\AppData\Local\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VII\Mods

in the civ 6 cheat menu there was a command for “Raze Selected City”.
is it possible to add it here in civ 7?

Problem is, the \AppData\Local\Firaxis Games\ doesn't exist. At all. As I wrote, I got the game through Steam, I guess that's why the \AppData etc. doesn't exist.

Also, you have to activate it in game. It will be under the “additional content” tab in game.

And, yeah, I'm aware, but as I wrote earlier, there's (literally) nothing under "Additional content" in game, which is why I wonder where to extract the files.

Do you mind showing us what your Users\UserName directory looks like right now? You can send it to me private message through Civfanatics if you’d feel better doing that. Would give me, at least, a better idea of what you’re looking at so I can maybe see what is the problem.

Remember, this isn’t in the Steam files though. It’s in a different location.

You need to unhide the Appdata folder as it may be hidden. You can start at step three if you simply type 'File Explorer Options' into the search bar.

1.
In the search bar type 'control panel' then enter.
A new window should pop up.
2.
Select 'Appearance and Personalization'
If you're viewing Control Panel in a way where you see all the links and icons but none of them are categorized, you won't see this link—skip down to Step 3.
3.
Select 'File Explorer Options'
A new window should pop up.
4.
Select the 'View' tab
Below you should see the 'Advanced settings' window, in this window there should be a yellow folder called 'Hidden files and folders' with two options, select 'Show hidden files, folders and drives' and then press the 'Apply' button.

The Appdata folder should now be visible if you navigate to the 'Users/{your name}' folder.

In the 'Appdata' folder navigate through - 'Local/Firaxis Games/Sid Meier's Civilizatin VII/Mods (if Mods folder doesn't exist then create a new folder called 'Mods' here)

This was it, thanks, I wasn't aware of the hidden files/folders, so this made the trick. Everything shows up correctly under "Additional content" now.

No worries, but problem resolved now (y)

I tried to use this mod (alone or in combination with other mods), but I cant get it to work. any help? :)

Hi Rayoz, This is awesome, Btw how did you get the references on the js files like addRuralPopulation? Seems I cant find those functions

Would be great to have a "give great work" button. I thought maybe this would be useful to fix a game where I encounter the bug where codices stop being awarded. I think I'll give myself an extra wildcard policy slot to make up for it ;)

I was looking through the tuner files and there is a mention for adding a great work, which gave me the same idea. I didn't quite figure that one out yet... instead I figured out how to add/subtract relationship favor. At least I learned something I guess but, to Rayoz12, I am happy to help look into more features/provide the modifications I made already if you like.

I had a similar issue but when I closed the game and reopened it the mod was in the list. Then when I played the game I had to get to a point where I could study the civic “Mysticism” and select a religious belief structure. Once I did that the cheat panel was available to open.

To be fair, I have not tried it with any other mods yet as the features in this one address my needs.

can anyone explain why the cheat mod doesn't work after utilizing prior to a save and then continuing with a saved game does not work, the same mods that were started with the game are the same as when using the saved game, it's weird, i am wondering if there is a string in the code that needs to be changed or something any ideas?

Hi Gruntdog,

As I stated earlier, I was not able to study the Civic “Mysticism” until about 10 turns in. After “Granary” i was able to study the Civic and after I selected a religion then saved and closed the game. I reopened the game and selected that save file the cheat panel was available. I suspect it has something to do with the Civic button for religion being available since he used that button for the MOD.

I cant see to get this to work? I'm on MAC. Ioaded it manually and though mod manager. I am assuming it has no compatibility with other MODS? That is the only thing I haven't tried.

Your correct. I don’t have a MAC. I am not sure how it would work on one.

I have a PC and it worked after I studied the civic “Mysticism” and founded a religion. Then the mod became available. I tried to use it prior to that and nothing happened. I understand you cannot choose to study the Civic for the first 10 turns, until after “Granary”.

I’ve used it earlier, but I did have to use the hotkey and it’s been inconsistent

Your mod is awesome to test stuff out. Works very well for me. Thank you. I was wondering if the game files concerning resources were accessable through the menu? Adding or removing resources is what I am interested in. I know we now have a Map Creation mod that does it but really do not want to create an entire map just to test various yield combinations in combination with other resource enhancement mods.
