I found it puzzling that capital cities could not be razed in vanilla civ games (i.e without mods). Conquest/domination seems like it could be done without the need to claim capital cities (e.g have a certain portion of cities/land under your control), and not being able to raze cities really get in the way. I'm not super dedicated to min-maxing, but I find it really irksome when some of my cities are too close or too far apart (the latter wastes land). When you cannot raze a capital, you either have to be too close to your opponent, or have your own cities too close to each other (if you don't settle too close, they will).
Anyway, rant over. The point of this thread is to ask whether there are any ways to raze capitals post-GS. I used "410 Raze Capital" (or something like that) with R&F, but it doesn't work with GS (it is marked as incompatible, and when used anyway, clicking on the button in the bottom-right corner to decide whether to raze or keep does nothing). Any compatible mods out there, or quick fixes (like xml edits)?
