I guess i should explain that now that i look at it.
In the old club i used to play in, it was a running joke. If you lifted your king from the back rank in the middle game you were about to go on the offensive with your king. It dated from a curious game where one player walked his king to g6 in the middle game to facilitate a mate getting checked all the way. The position was semi-closed obviously. But hence the origins of "the dreaded K-attack". Another classic one that came from there, now that i think of it, was, "He forced me to mate him!", deriving from all the checks driving the king up the board
