Re-basing B17s in WW II 1939 scenario?

My captured cities in Europe are too far away, and I can't start an airbase on one of the islands in the Atlantic because there are no settlers in this scenario, and my carriers don't carry bombers, so how do I get my B17's across the Atlantic to Europe?

If you have an air base in a US city you can "air transport" your bombers to allies/your cities.

Do you mean that I can base my aircraft in an allied city as well as my own?

Can I station any and all of my unit types in allied cities?

How can I prevent my cities from going into starvation mode as soon as I go to war? As crazy as it seems, I have as many as five citizens in some cities refusing to work due to "overcrowding" and "war weariness". "War weariness" a couple of months after being attacked by the Japanese, and *before* any of my units get into actual combat.!!?? Very strange and totally out of character for the Americans during WW II. So, Any ideas?

Am I going to be able to coordinate "Opertation Overlord" with the British when the time comes? If so, how?

Yes, you can base in any city of yours or an ally.
