Chieftain
Have been reading the thread "CIVILIZING THE BARBARIANS" and it seemed to turn into more of a debate on the pros and cons of cheating, so I thought i'd stick my oar in.
I am new to the game (reasonably) and am still learning it so find the cheat mode a kinda useful tool. Lets face it, it is a complex game to learn and play properly ...with any success! I have two games running at the moment. One I am playing with out ANY cheating at all, like any game should really be played (..including politics!) The other I am cheating like mad. It's a great way to find out how things work at all levels i.e. how one military unit fares against another.
Also my eight year old daughter loves it when I "accidently" Nuke an opponent that is still has a grass skirt and a bone through the nose! And, Hey, thats O.K. Why should'nt she be able to enjoy the game? Besides, " We can just make another one, Dad!" She gets bored with the "real" game and I don't want to stop her playing so cheating is fine....IT'S ONLY A GAME...IS'NT IT?
