Reasons why Civilization is better than TV

18. A Tv doesn't backstab you the very crucial moment when you will wage a full scale war to your neighbor.

19. Tv doesn't try to rob you blind with 55 Gp per turn for one lousy fur.
:rotfl::rotfl:

24) Civ Never ends.
25) You pay 20$ once and you get 100+ hours of non-stop entertainment. The same cannot be said of TV.
26) The question of power outages and 'internet sucks' :badcomp: never rises

29) Civilization creates more work for opticians, damaging your eyes more than tv, and thus helping the economy. :p

30. You can take out your anger in Civ by declaring war on someone and razing all their cities in a berserk rage! :evil:

THAT IS SOOOOOOOOOO TRUE!!!! :cry::mad::lol::eek::blush: (Yes, my vision deteriorated BECAUSE of my addiction to Civ III & Civ IV!)

31. Civ is actually quite violent (if you warmong), & it's only rated E10+ (by the ESRB).

32. Civ makes you get interest for the History class (if you were one of those who doesn't likes it, which is NOT my case).

33. In Civilization, you actually get to use the diabolical strategy of making every civilization go to war with every other civilization except yours, then working on research and city defenses. In theory, they would all be too distracted to stop you.

35) You can act intellectually superior to all those poor shmucks who don't play intelligent games

Ghandi popping up every turn to beg is better? Plus the assorted 10 other visits.

Guess you missed the Capital One and Geico ads, huh?

Yeah but Civ is "not" so easy a caveman can do it. Ever wonder why a barb would rather pillage a mine than take an undefended city?
