I've set up the bank, you may now charge customers for there drinks. You will be taxed 10% of your total income ever time the bank is updated, please post all future transactions there.
 
Well ice, they post the transactions in here and then my trusty accountant robboo talleys them up every few pages and then posts them all in one go for you :)
 
Well, sicne theres not other business' around, and it dosen't seem like anyone has nade any transactions, I belive I'll be the first.

Now, some friendly bar discussion, who's managing the land thread? and who keeps track of the business'? I may seem like I'm tryign to get everything going to fast, but I think more people will join if we have already started. If need be, I'll take on another job for now until we can get someone else to do it. I guess I don't mind having two jobs.
 
George is managing the land thread, hes just finalising the details for it before posting his thread :).

Heres your riot beer good man, the only thing we can do is get playing the RPG and hope people begin to join :)
 
BCLG..I need a clarification of when to start collecting money from people. What date do you want me to go back to or do you just want to start with post #48
 
I believe I made the first purchase (considering I just opened the bank), I don't think past debts hsould be collected, since BCLG said all the booze was on the house until the bank opened. Anyway it's BCLG's call though.

On another note, I think we should get Chieftess, once we get land management up, to post on the main page that the RPG is now functional. I think thatthe last time it was mentioned there, it was a scentence, as a sub division to the regular demogame. I don't think it caught anybody's eye.

Btw anyone here of when the next turn chat might be?

BCLG... Am I also to assume that Striders former business is in default. Also can you change your name with not just a string of 4 letters..my dyslexia is giving me fits with your name..(joking) So far I have typed. BCGL, BClg. bgcl... From now on..you shall be called BC at least by me.
 
lol yer i have noticed but i dont mind :D but yer BC's cool, Yer striders character doesnt exist anymore therefore his buisness cant either.

Yup money and stuff should start being collected from now, Ice has opened up the bank thread. So all of you lot can start buissness's now as well, remember you get the first one free, well does anyone want to draft an annoucement for the main page and i can ask TF to post it, whether he will is a complete other matter :).

Also im not the boss we're all in this together :), you all have put a lot of work in as well :)

robboo, kinda have to point this out but houses and furniture are 2 seperate buissness, one is large scale one is smaller scale. Just pointing it out but you'd have to pay extra for the other buisness. :)
 
Yeh, I'd draft one up, but I haven't been around long enough to know all the aspects well enoug hto advertise them. I think you should ask Chieftess, cause she (?) has the power to post first page, and shes the most active out of the moderators in the Demogame.

Why is it taking so long for another turnchat? It's been like a week and none have occured.

Anyone know if Strider is coming back to atleast play in the RPG, he does have a bulding business waiting + if land management opens, that business will be needed.

Another question, last one, I promise, when you open your first business, do you rent land or buy land. Also is it assumed your first business is built already? (which makes the building cost free)

Got ya....I rather small stuff..Houses are too easy to build. :)

I will write it up and post it. Going to have bowls and goblets and stuff also. I will use metal and wood in my construction. might even make some small wood adn metal weapons.( spears or bow/arrows)

Only Thuderfall has power to post on the main page not Chieftess, Rik is also very active just maybe not among the main demogame.

Theres a turnchat on the cards now check the main forum.

Doubt hes going to come back tbh, your very welcome to start up your own building thread though ice :)

Yer its assumed your first buissness is already built free of charge, on land within the capital city where we're all living right now :)
 
Ok, however, if you look at the main page, look at the most recent Civ4demogame post. Notice it's by Chieftess (wierd.)

Anyway I have a few questions, as always. Does anything we do in roleplaying affect us? Is there a system used when battling or what not in roleplaying? (for instance the current voyage I'm on.) And is there a way to move to another city besides BW?

Edit** Also can I open a business while on a voyage?

I'll be checking the main forum...
