Recolored Monster Spider Unit

This is the "Wolf Spider" that Kinboat made. I made a new palette and recolored the animations. The large and small pcx files and the units_32 are also remade.
Kinboat did an especially good job on this unit and I needed it for the Escape from Zombie Island 2 scenaro but wanted it with more green hues as well as darker and slightly higher contrast to look good on the map. I removed and remade all of the Civ Specific Colored areas because they distracted from the unit looks and they are not needed due to the Zombies being the only ones who have this Monster Spider. I put the sounds together quite some time ago for this unit so all files are included. I adjusted the .ini file to slow the speed of the spider as well. All Game Tested.

Thought I would upload it in case anyone else has a use for it.

Partizanac... Might as well make "friends" with spiders...as "they" say, we are never more than a few feet away from one. Besides, the main one you really have to worry about is the "Monster Spider" that eats people in Escape From Zombie Island 2 Just make a mental note NOT to ever go to Paradise Island... Zombies and Crawling Brains and Monster Spiders etc...there.
...and to think that it was voted the best place to live in the world just one year before the Zombie Outbreak. We just cannot assume or depend on anything these days

As I stated, Kinboat did a really nice job of animating this unit and I find that it looks great in the game... but that is IF one needs a Spider in their game. Perhaps not too many have fantasy games where it could be used but it is a very good top shelf unit indeed

Off Topic but "Level" made one of the Best units I have seen to date way back when Civ III first came out, Called the Crawler. A Mechanical spider that has a really nice attack with a special "cannon" on its back and can transport other units.
Many Fantistic Units have been made since Civ III came out and there are still many MODs being made to use them. No matter what we are all into as far as the type of game we like...there are units that can be used and units that are still being made...all quite Fun and a Great Break from the "reality" of the day.
I have many units that I have renovated and probably like most others, I just do not upload them unless I think someone could really get some benefit from them. Funny after all these years I still do not have a fantastic amout of posts. I keep busy and also am guilty of not posting a comment to others when I should due to missing it all from staying so busy. None the less, I have had a Great time and do appreciate all the efforts everyone has made throughout the years here.

themanuneed... Yes, units and sounds have a way of getting scattered sometimes. There were several sounds uploaded long ago.
I put some together as well as make some other pcx files and units_32 for that Crawler unit. I uploaded my Sound and pcx files for anyone who wants them for Level's Crawler. Also posted on the sounds thread.

Plotinus... Yes, it is a Great Unit. The slight Greenish tint and setting it darker with more contrast allows it to look very good on the EFZI2 Map. The Civ Specific colors detracted from the nice unit so I remade those areas and it does Fit in quite well for the Zombies as a Stronger later unit. I have a New Tech called "Horrible Things" that the Zombies have to research to be able to build these Monster Spiders...Crawling Brains as well, lol. I am working on several things but plan to have the sounds completed soon for the Crawling Brain and will upload that for anyone who can use a Crawling Brain unit , probably not many... lol
