Recruiting Provincial Governors

I don't think that would be a valid poll, dis. It is neither temporary nor time critical. You should ask for a definition review from the Judiciary to see if the plan is plausible. Start a discussion now and put up a poll proposal as soon as the Judiciary gets back to you. If they say no then that discussion thread can be the start of a rule change discussion.
 
It was discussed, and the poll proposal will be up for 24h soon. Why should it be invalid? Im also a domestic officer.
Responsible for provincial borders.
 
i will put it up as 48h official one. changed my mind and forgot i posted as quicky. will change proposal now.
 
I have made my decision on appointees for the 2 planned Provincial Governor positions. donsig will be presented as Governor of the SouthWest Province and Cyc will be presented as Governor of the SouthEast Province. Many factors went into these decisions including the citizen feedback poll, my personal experience working with them on various projects and a mandate to get and keep both of them in official office.

FionnMcCumhall will be named to the Northern Province as soon as that province has another city. My personal feeling is that must happen very quickly. It is seriously underdeveloped and within the Capital's reduced corruption range.

All Department Leaders should respond to these 2 polls:
Confirmation for donsig to SouthWest Province
Confirmation of Cyc to SouthEast Province
 
Arg. I lost the Govenorship :wallbash:. Is there anyway that I can be a Lt. Govenor (Deputy Govenor).
 
Well, I accept your decision, Mr. President. I guess I will retain my Lt. Governorship under Fionn, now I have even a worse position. :( *sigh*
 
plex we get the northern province, once its established even tho i asked for the sotheast one. it seems that being the governor i dont get first choice, just a province. I wish that it was law, but unfortunately this situation has never come up. so we live with the presidents solution
 
i dont think he wants a one city province either, and if anyone was to get the one city province out of the two of us id rather it be me
 
id prefer one that gives the current go. first choice at what new province he/she wishes to govern over if said province is hack to peices
 
Fionn, I don't know if you were around or if you remember, but when I was Domestic Leader of Phoenatica, I was also Governor of the Capital Province, Istar. A change in the Constitution stole my Governorship right out from under me. Donsig was quickly shuffled in to replace me. At first, I was shocked and hurt (although I didn't express this). But then I realized that I was just in that position during that period of time when a change was made for the good of the country. I accepted it and moved on. You on the other hand are still a Governor and are receiving quite a bit of free press over this as well as a strenthening of your current and new supporters.

Belive me, I know how you feel. But get up and get back on your horse. If you want to change a law, change a law. But accept your responsibilty as a Leader and let's see the Fionn we all know.
 
i accept it dont get me wrong, but i fail to see why i shouldnt have had first choice, and by the time i did change law it would be too late. And im still not happy with the 14 people who voted for a one city province
 
We dont even need a rulechange to put bavaria under domestic advisory. We just need to decline provincial status to it, and as such it is governed by the domestic department.
 
i want to be on record as i dont like any idea that involves a single city being declared a province or district. We didnt do it last game, and to do it this game just gives domestic even more work to do as if they didnt have enough. If said domestic deputy controls the queues of said cities and then the leader of the domestic restires the deputy who is promoted up to domestic leader until he finds a new deputy has to do it all. So therefore i disagree with this idea
 
fionn: so you consider one single city so much work?!?
now why are mayors only seen as "good will" thing?
so be serious:
governing 1 more city wont harm anyone at domestic, especially when employing a mayor there and because it will ppbly be the man wonder-builder.
 
I could always hold out when we'll need to redraw the boarders again (belive me, we will).
