Reinstall order

I am preparing to format and re-install Windows XP Home. My Civ 4 BTS has bugged (made no changes and then after loading one game, no GUI), but that's only one reason for the format. I'm hoping someone can tell me the best order to install Civ 4, the patches, the expansions, and the BUG and Rise of Mankind mods (Civ 4 bugged out before I found out about RoM, and I'd like to try it.). I have both the Warlords expansion and BtS.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Install Civ4, immediately patch it to 1.61 (download it fresh from here)
Install Warlords, immediately patch it to 2.08 (download it fresh from here)
Install Beyond the Sword, immediately patch to 3.19 (download it fresh from here).
then any mods.
