Don't know if thas has been posted before but on Amazon.co it says that CivIV will be released september 30th!

Internet shops usually make up release dates so I wouldn't trust that date.

The most reliable dates I've seen are 15 Nov 2005.

Definitely do not trust internet release dates. It is only in their interest to set an early one to encourage people to pre-order early. Amazon does this a lot, especially; I once pre-ordered a game in excitement, and the "release date" was pushed back about 8 times.
