Religious decay

sure thing. you are right. but god knows how many religions in the world history as well right? but the most important ones are in the game and thats not a problem right?

There are many mods with many religions, the choice of which ones are included often end up dictated by the availability of graphics more than anything else.

i guess it's not implemented by default in the new AND version? ... good luck my game freezes and i have to start anew so i can include it. you should ask afforess to add this to the AND install package - maybe in a special category: test features. many more ppl would try it out then and it won't be if this is burrowed in the forum here.

alternatively you can ask Hanshimsihim to include this in his package. either way, don't let this stand alone here or it gets lost without the proper attention (the thread has 4 pages of interested players after all).

Meh. It's not in AND because it's needlessly complex. (And I have an aversion to python) It would be simple to just add religious decay into the SDK, with a few parameters.

Decay Rules:
State Religion - Never Decays
2 Or Less Religions - Never Decays
Holy City - Never Decays
Holy City in Empire - 50% Slower Decay
At War with Owner of Holy City - 25% Faster Decay
3 or More Religions - 10% More Decay for each religion above 3
Religious Buildings - Slow Decay according to Building XML Religion Spread Factor (Temple Slows decay of that religion by 50%, Cathedral by 66% [If I recall correctly])

That would take me like 15 minutes to add, would not slow the game down, and could be an option.

That would be great. :)
Currently, atheist cannot perform inquisition, so decay will be helpful to it.

including it directly into the SDK is of course the best alternative. if you could make a civic tag to influence decay of non state religions this would be perfect.
