It looks cool. A few comments:
1>Bakeul made some nice Hebrew units, so you might want to check those out for the Maccabee.
2>What historical basis do you have for Shiva's warriors? Since Shiva is Hindu I believe, you might want to rename the unit to Rajputs. If you want I can give you some warrior caste names.
3>Jihad Warriors could be renamed to Jihad Ghazis or Jihad Ghulams. Ghazis were wild fanatic warriors whilst Ghulams were the proffesional fighting force of an Emir.
Still, looks cool.
Look at how another mod or even BTS sets up an art define and go from there. the unit art defines are the most self-explanatory part of XML but also the most likely to annoy you. Look around for tutorials and if you need further help, ask.
For the Rajput names I think they are Soomro Rajputs or Astavarki Rajputs. Don't quote me on that as I dont have access to the source.
Cool, other names I found:
Clans:
>Agnivanshi-descended from the Fire god Agni
>Suryavanshi-descended from the Sun god surya
>Chandravanshi-descended from the Moon god Chandra
Noble titles:
>Jagir(dir)-holder of a small fief, a Jagir
>Nagavarika-Solanki lord
>Raja Asvaka-Solanki horseman
>Kshatriya-generic term for noble warrior
>Bhattara Saravani-not sure what it translates to.
Other:
>Soomro-culture group near the Indus
>Qiqaniyya-slave soldiers in the service of the Malikate of Sindh
>Ghanara-possibly a cultural group or a caste.
for Religious units i used:
Christianity: Crusader
Islam: Mamluk
Judaism: Maccabee
Hinduism: Kshatriya
Buddhism: Shaolin Monk
Taoism: Shaman
Confucianism: Elder
I wouldn't use Mamluk for Islam, Mamluks were confined to a set period of history and geography, Egypt under the Ayyubids or Mamluks. Ghulam would work better as that was a universal name for slave soldiers.
