I was wondering if we could load prior saves to extract information out of one of the Fx screens (ie: F3, F5, etc) . No other actions would happen just collecting data for analysis. Below is the rule that I think would apply but it says nothing of reloading for info only. These turns have already been played.
Ruleset said:
2.1 - Reloading

Description: No team or individual is allowed to reload the game with the intent of altering the outcome of any event, combat, or other in-game result.

Definition: Someone reloading the game when something happens that they don't like and wish to change. Playing the turn in a different order to alter the outcome of said happenings.

Purpose: To prevent a team from replaying a turn until the most optimum outcome is achieved or otherwise increasing their odds of winning.

Verdict: Reloading the game or using any exploit or bug that allows altering the RNG outcome or replaying a turn through any means is a violation of this rule.

Punishment Level: Red (1-10 Turns)

I think once it's sent it's done and done.

Maybe Rik or RegentMan know.

I had a chat with Regentman. We both have the same idea on it.

Opening the save to take screenshots and check the state of the empire is no problem. Just don't move any units or do other irreversible things. I assume you all know what is meant by this.

okie dokie. No moving units...check. nothing else...check. I was just going to open the saves & hit F whatever then get back out. Thanks for the prompt reply.

I understand the sensitivity of this because moving a unit one way when it has already moved another could give you double the scouting.

Sorry Rik I'm dense (major idiot in fact)
Does this mean old saves can be viewed or only the new ones and back out after viewing?

Without discussing it with Regentman I think it's fairly obvious that opening old saves should not be a problem.

@Tubby: There are more reasons than just "extra scouting". Forgive me to not list them as that could only bring ideas in people's head.
