I just went through your timeline on the Civfanatics site. I'm a new Civ player. I was able to follow the action, but had a question. There is a point in time when you get repeated tributes from the Zulus. I was unable to understand how that was accomplished. Care to enlighten me? Stan
It's been a while since I played that game (<a href="http://www.civfanatics.com/timeline1a.shtml">click here for the timeline</a>). I am very surprised myself. I managed to get tribute from the Zulus every turn for 8 turns! The amount was 75, 25, 50, 25, 25, 25, 200, and 150 Golds. They were definitly my Golden Goose! <IMG SRC="http://forums.civfanatics.com/smilies/cwm45.gif" border=0>
So if you have the military and are not afraid of war, demand tribute every turn. They may give you tribute for many turns one after another, until they run out of money! I guess Zulus had to sell some of their improvements to pay me tribute.
