Our conquests have brought a German city under our control. Should we keep the name to remember the civilization from whom we took it, or should we convert it wholly to Greek (once that one citizen is assimilated, of course), name and all? Here are some possibilities:
1. Keep the name the same
2. Hellenize the name Berlin
3. Make a new name with Greek and German origins
4. Make a new name that is wholly Greek
5. Make a name that has nothing to do with Greece or Germany

Hopefully more creative people could give suggestions for #2-5. Also, this will set a precedent for the naming of other captured cities.

I personally believe that the choice should be in the hands of you, the expatriate governor, as for 2-5 I'm thinking and will try to have some ideas for you tommorow

I have a few, German names:

Stadt des Kriegs- City of War

Stadt des Todes- City of Death

Denkmal des Kriegs- Monument of War

More cheerful ones:

Stadt des Biers- City of Beer

Stadt des Wienerschnitzle- City of... well Wienerschnitzle

Schliemann, after the German archeologist that found the Mausolleum.

I also suggest Thule, which is the Greek word for the legendary country far north, which fits with the cold climate.

Thule is the best suggestion so far - short and simple. But on the whole I think I prefer to keep Berlin. It was a notable city, the German capitol, and may eventually be the last city left of German origin, let us keep the name to commemorate the nation and their part in our empire.

:goodjob: to Thule! That name is perfect considering the Germans were from the North (compared to Greece) and most of their land is in tundra. Thule!

I would prefer Berlin, but Schliemann is great too :).

What a bad name. I think just "Berlin" is great.
Just like I think Deutchslandikos is a fine name. Yes, t'is a bit odd, but unique. But ultimately, Berlin will probably remain; fine by me.
