Renaming the computer civs

Is there any way I can change the names of the computer civs?

Say I want to change the Babylonians to the Barfbags, the Romans to the Repulsives and the Aztecs to the Alcoholics. Is there any way I can do this?

(Yes, I know this is an incredibly childish thing to do)
(Yes, I know I’m a sad, sad man)
(Yes, I know I really need to get out more)

I don't know if any of the common CIV1 save game editors let you do this but you can do it yourself with a HEX Editor.

If you open any of the SVE files (CIV's save game files) with a HEX Editor the first ~200 bytes of data are the names of the different races.

It's quite easy to do, as well. If you haven't got a hex editor, you can download one free from the net. Editing the save file is easy (if I can do it, anybody can do it - trust me!)
