Hi. I have a few questions.

1. Sometimes when I want to sign a right of passage agreement, the civ says that I betrayed somebody before, but I didn't even have an embassy with the civ they mention. Is this a bug or what?

2. Same thing for gpt. In one of my games on sid I was very careful about declaring war only when all deals expired, and mysteriously I get blamed again for breaking a gpt deal. Is that a bug too? If yes can someone please explain how it works because it is very annoying to have to wait 20 turns to buy a tech that I could have bought 20 turns ago with gpt.

3. The AI never seems to have gold available, even when they are already in republic or monarchy. Even if they have 1000+ gold in their treasury they won't give me even 1 gold per turn for a tech or resource. This is on sid by the way, so they should definitely have money.

For number 1, if you have any units in the other Civs territory when you declare war, it is considered breaking a ROP, if even if didn't have a ROP.

Number 2 I'm not sure about, it depends on the circumstances.

For number 3, if you have broken a gpt deal (or any per turn deal i.e. resources, luxuries) the AI won't do gpt for non per turn items (techs, maps, etc.)

I'm surprised you haven't run into this when climbing up the ladder towards Sid difficulty. But to answer your first two questions:
1) You can trade (for example: luxury for gpt) with another civ without having an embassy in their capital, hence you can break a deal and ruin your reputation. The AI's will tell eachother about this the very next interturn.

2) You can also get blamed for a broken deal when it's not your fault. For example, if you rely on a harbor for your trade route and it gets captured by another civ, the trade route is lost and you get a rep hit. Even when you have a deal with a civ that is eliminated during the 20 turns, you get the hit.

About the third I'm not sure. I do know that the AI will never give out gold per turn if they are not making money themselves at that time, even when their treasury if full enough to sustain the 20 turns.

Thanks about number 1, I did not know that having units inside the territory counts as a ROP rape, even if there is no ROP.

But about being blamed for breaking a gpt, I am absolutely sure that I didn't break any deals at all, I only traded with 2 civs (crappy starting location, on the end of a penninsula), and was veery careful about cancelling all of them when I went to war with another. I didn't trade resources either (had lots of jungle and practically no roads).

About number 3, i think that increasing their unit support bonus might help them make more money, because I hate it when I buy a tech for a couple thousand and then can only trade it to others for 50 gold and world map and no gpt.

Yes, and "having units inside their territory" can be a helpless, empty curraugh passing by their coast somewhere... or a worker on a tile their culture just expanded to! :(

This and the human "taking the hit" when breaking a deal is not our fault, should definitely BE CHANGED.
