I'd love to get my hands on a mod that keeps current rivers but also adds small rivers, which visually appear as roughly 1/4th or 1/3rd the width of current rivers, provide fresh water and the same defensive/offensive bonuses and penalties, but do not impede movement at all (or perhaps only by half a point).
I love realistic earth maps with realistic waterways, but packing all that detail using only the vanilla rivers on most playable scales simply looks unrealistic and impedes movement too much.
Hoping others might find this concept interesting.
