Resizable Customizable Domestic Advisor

Domain-based XP columns and great general count. For this test screen they're in front of the buildings that are supplying the domain XP. But the arrangement can always be played with later. Spoiled because it's full-size this time.

Note that I still haven't fixed the XP text on the producing line and that I tried the domain-based icons in the producing list too. The tank fits nice but the other two don't seem to blend well so I'll probably stick with the generic :strength: for now.

Might I suggest a white Tank, Plane, & Anchor? I think that would produce a much cleaner look overall for the unit Icons, and it offsets well form the orange text.
Works for me. It does look a little odd as is.

Yeah those would be great. No need for them to match the colors in the PLE buttons.

All this work on colors gave me another idea: color the name of each city with the player color from whom you took it for cities you didn't originally build. This may not work well with the background color of the list.

I'm also not even sure if this information is available. You may have to track this as cities change hands, and in that case I'd say it's not worth the effort.

Note: Dresden, As this seems to have become the general CDA forum, you might want to drop "Resizable" from the title.

There's a CyCity.getPreviousOwner() (and even a CyCity.getOriginalOwner()) but the wide variety of possible colors does sound like a problem.

As for the topic title, good call.

I suppose a different option would be a column showing the leaderhead of the original owner, but I doubt it would be very visible at that size.

Indeed. I can't think of a reasonable way to indicate it without showing the full leader or civ name.

Oh, and topic title change was apparently a failure. Either I'm incompetent, don't have the rights, or both since the only thing that changed was the little text above the first post. :p
