[Graceheart the Leopard]

Is there any way I can make resources I add available with certain techs, like how Iron appears on the map with Iron working? For example, if I want to add Plutonium, available with Fission, how can I do this?

Note: I know how to add in resources, I just want to know how to make them availabe with techs, as I said above.

Hi Farsight. When you add a resource under the resources tab in the editor, simply click on the down arrow next to "Prerequisite". Scroll down the list of techs until you come to the one you want to be the prerequisite for your resource and choose it.

It sounds like you are very new to modding the game. You might want to check out this thread for info on how to use the editor.

Under Natural Resources the is a a box marked Prerequisite, just below the civipedia box. Click on the arrow next to the box and scroll down to the tech that you want.
