Resynch.sav problem

Myself and a mate are playing a LAN game with 2 computers. We are on the last page of technologies and every 5 minutes or so (it has become more frequent as we get on) the game hangs and crashes the one pc back to the MP screen, and mine (host) says Out of Synch and saves as Resynch.sav and kicks my mate out).

Can someone please advise - I have upgraded to 1.21 and this hasn't helped. I have the latest video card drivers and the network is fast - the map is huge with 4 civs in total.

My PC is an AMD1800 and his is a AMD 1 Ghz - both with 500 meg RAM and GEforce Ti500 and Geforce Ti200 video cards (with the latest Nividia drivers).

We are playing PTW and I have upgraded to 1.21f on both PCs. I have turned off external internet access and all firewalls, so it's not that.

Please help.

did you ever get a reply to this? i'm having a similar problem. Lan game, every time my friend tries to bomb a computer controlled sea vessel, we get the "out of synch" thing. we can reload the synch-game file, but, almost without fail, we get the out of synch thing.
