Several hundred horse barbarian cousins have alligned with the Mongols and are now attacking me. Despite the valiant efforts of my brave Celtic Gallics one elite was lost. The Celts are discouraged and protesting through out our lands.... off with the Kings head the citizens cry. I'd say let them eat cake but we don't have any.

It seems to me the Mongols like the scorched earth strategy. At least, it saves my generals from all the paperwork they would have to do, if my troops had to raze the cities

The Celts were soundly defeated by the glorious Mongol Horsemen. 2 Spears and a Gallic Sword were killed, and a Catapult captured.
1 Mongol Horse was lost, and 3 were retreated with heavy casualties.

Yes we were sorrily defeated. The mongol hordes came out from behind their walls and surprised our troops laying siege to Almarikh. The mongols are proving to be a determined foe.
