Different tile elevation? Entire city/buildings in the background appear to be one level lower.

Same here, probably already mentioned, but it's new to me:

Papyrus? Resources/starting location tied to chosen civ?

3.png

Swiss civ?

The same city changes visuals in different eras:

Ok, this looks kinda bad. A train station with useless tracks?

Love the idea of leaders interacting, but dislike the idea of Benjamin Franklin, the leader of the Greeks.

9.png

Proper city names - "Roma" instead or "Rome". Huge plus.

10.png

Smooth transition between different levels (also love the art style and cultural diversity when it comes to units. I wonder if we'll see the return of units speaking in native language like in Civ IV - it was also one of my favorite features):

Silk? BTW, Gwendoline sounds cool as narrator.

12.png

Weather confirmed (dust storm)?

Bonuses to building wonders matching your culture. Also two culturally unique buildings.

14.png

Tile initially built as "granary", then it was enhanced with an additional building - an obelisk. I wonder if we'll have unrestricted ability to place buildings in districts, unlike in Civ VI where science buildings could only be built in science districts. Also districts look beautiful, much better than in Civ VI.

Obelisk disappeared...

16.png

And reappeared...

17.png

Builders? Also is the road built automatically, or did they build it?

Grapes:

Love the idea of independents. Limited options though - either befriend them, or ask them to raid someone.

Only 20 attached files per post, will continue in the next one.

Units moving as armies. Middle ground between 1 UPT and stacks. I love it (if true). 6 units and a commander in the army? Zone of control?

21.png

Looks like copy of Humankind's war system - units grouped into armies for marching, but switching to 1 UPT on the separate battlefield (designated here by green line?). If so - it's fantastic. In Humankind it really works great, one of the best features.

You can continue as Egypt, play as Aksum, play as Amina or choose Songhai? 15 dots below, at least 15 possible Age of Exploration civs to choose from?

23.png

Terracotta Army:

24.png

Same blue beams as on the shipwreck earlier in the video, so - ancient ruins (goody huts)?

25.png

I don't like the idea of a forced crisis at the end of each age.

26.png

Sequoias (or something like it) as a resource?

27.png

Full cultural variety - the same shape of the buildings as Egyptians had (generic building), but clearly different aesthetics. Love it.

28.png

Field fortifications?

29.png

Mongols?

30.png

Khmer associated wonder and unique unit?

31.png

And that's it. Plenty of cool stuff in the video.

It's actually much better than HKs war system where the people just spread instantly across the territory. At least in this case they spread around the commander it feels more natural
