RFC: Cannot move through marsh tiles

I have started playing around with RFC, but have run in to an annoying "feature".

It seems that my military units cannot go through certain terrain (with costs of 2 mp)... this includes marshes, and also jungles, it seems. Makes it kind of tough in certain situations.

Am I missing something here? Is there a reason?

Oh, as a note... this was swordsmen (chinese) that were having the issue... not chariots

never mind... I figured it out... right in the civilopedia. d'oh!
