RFC Europe Files

It should have done that. Check the barbs, use the WB and make some barb units next to your borders and see if they will attack.

It looks like I did it right in the end. Thanx for your patience.:D

Hi. I still got problems with the Venetians. Every time I meet them or want choose them in a new game, the game crashes.:(

That is odd. I just loaded a game with Venice and had no trouble. Try reinstalling the mod (download it again, then delete the entire RFCEurope folder and replace it with the one from the archive, make sure you delete the old folder first). Then start a new game.

If you still have trouble, post PythonErr2.log file that is in My Games\Beyond the Sword\Logs.

Can't download the most recent version, cause it holds at the latest of 15% O.o
Someone got an idea why it keeps doing it? (tried it about 10 times now)

Might be a rapidshare issue, sometimes their server doesn't work well. I will try to upload to filefront.

Am I the first to post reply at Alpha 2? How lucky. Thank you for this great work!

Thanks but no you're not the first. Wrong thread though.:p

which file is the most recent version of RFC Europe? the one on the first post?

The Alpha 2 version from the first post, that is the one that you need.

BTW: good signature. I don't believe that only 55% of the people can read it, at first it looked like gibberish, but then I realized it was a text and everything read fine.

thanks for clarifying for me and i didnt do the research. i found it in another signature and thought it looked cool. probably should read something about it though

sorry am a bit slow with understanding how these files work. Deleted all old RFCeurope files and replaced them with the new Alpha 2 version(as I had been doing with all other downloads) but the mod keeps failing to launch. Now read that was only supposed to delete the old assets folder. I assume that i should download the march seventh version now and delete that ones assets folder and replace it with the Alpha version. Is this correct?

Go to:

Where\CivIV\BtS\happens\to\be\Firaxis Games\Civilization IV\Beyond the Sword\Mods

Then you delete the folder RFCEurope that is in there and replace it with the one that you get from the download.

Thats what i did with no luck it fails to load the mod.

Same prob with alpha 2. hope the log-file can help.

I sort of know what the problem is. The game crashes on the new leaderheads that we have put in the game. There is something incompatible between your video settings and those cards.

What is your video card and what kind of video settings do you have. Do you have any trouble with the regular leaderheads (i.e. slow loading or what not). The custom heads usually require much more memory then the ones already in (the ones in are optimized, the new ones require that the game loads several regular heads at once and then tries to put them together). Also are there any other leaderheads that cause problem, try Burgundy, Bulgaria, Sweden and others.

well its an old laptop I use and their aren't much video memory. I don't have probs with regular leaderheads and the new leaderheads are fine although the are loading rather slowly.

oh, and by the way good job on those leaderheads. They look terrific especially Burgundy:goodjob:
