RHQ Artificially Intelligent AI Mod

RHQ Artificially Intelligent AI Mod RHQ AI Mod 2.11

Tried the beta. I'm playing Marathon so it goes slowly.
I'm still evaluating but my initial experience is that war issue is resolved, honestly now they seem to go to war too much:) I'm in 30 % Antiquity and every civ had at least 2 wars so far...But they all involved Genghis Khan or Xerxses either on attacking or defending side, so it could be just their militaristic attitude. But nevertheless it causes crazy vanilla border gore situation.
I would like to hear others experiences.
would you say it's a good thing, or a bad thing?

So far, I have played one match. The first two eras were interesting gameplay. Lots of wars, it was fun to play. But the last era was just clicking through 50 turns. I was supposed to win economically, but the game was so boring that I had to switch to a cultural victory. The AI is bad at pursuing victory. With 4 planes, I destroyed an entire civilization.

I can take another look at modern. I haven't since the patch.

I played two recent post-1.2.5 games on Sovereign (with Immortal combat strength & walls bonus to make wars tougher), one without this mod and one with. The modded AI plays very, very well - particularly when defending in wars. Thanks for all the work on the mod!

Appreciate you, I do my best. I don't test on Sovereign as much as I'd like focusing on Deity gameplay, so it's nice to know the impacts are reasonable at the lower levels as well.

Hi!

Is the AI too passive with this mod? I'm playing my first game with it, and till the 200th turn, there were no declarations of war. There are civs who have contesting borders.
Also, three of them (I only know 4 civs) only has 2 cities/towns, although their caps are 4.
I'm using the steam version (updated on the 20th of September).

I see them in auto plays. Can you tell me about your game? Also, generally in auto play they have more cities than the cap, or at the cap.

I can test it again. is it on a particular difficulty? Any other settings that can help, and I can try an autoplay with your settings.

Thank you for your answer, and your work!

My settings:

Sovereign difficulty
Marathon
Long age length
Huge map
Continents and islands
8 civs (wanted to replicate the multi settings for test reasons) - everybody on my continent has plenty of space
No other mods

I think these are that can matter, but if you need some more info, of course I can provide it.

Yup. It wouldn't shock me if there's an issue I can solve there. I did see the problem in base game, and in the mod where suddenly settlers get a bit stuck sometimes going back and forth between locations. I just haven't done the work yet to really sit down and figure it out. Perhaps today I will find the motivation to do that.
