Rhye's and fall... ?

Has anyone heard from Rhye, or any news about the mod he was working on? It was more than a year since he last updated his page with a pic :/

And if you're there Rhye:

The main thread being used for the mod is still on the first page of this forum. Whilst this thread on page 2 has news that they've got settler maps working without using dll but a snag has been hit due to an autoplay crash and they're taking a break from development for a while. We don't know if anything else can be implemented without the dll release.
